I have extensive experience in advising and defending national and international clients in civil and commercial litigation before the courts of justice and arbitration tribunals.

My practice also focuses on insolvency advice, both for clients in situation of insolvency and as creditors, and I also act as insolvency administrator.

I began my professional career at Uría Menéndez, where I worked for eleven years. After working as Counsel at Toda & Nel-lo and being appointed Head of the Insolvency Law Department, I joined the Litigation and Insolvency Department at Garrigues. Before founding PARS, I worked as a Director at Andersen.

Main areas of practice and expertise

‍‍I am specialised in Litigation, Arbitration, Restructuring and Insolvency. In particular, I have experience in the following areas:

  • Advising on general private law issues, especially in Contract Law.
  • Civil and commercial litigation on contractual matters and directors' liability.
  • Advising financial institutions on enforcement proceedings of security interests and personal guarantees for the recovery of credits, credit portfolios sale and purchase, and proceedings on the validity and fulfilment of banking contracts.
  • General advice in insolvency proceedings, including restructuring, defending the interests of creditors, the insolvent company or individual and its directors in the context of incidents, clawback or liability actions and sales of production units. I also act as insolvency administrator.
  • General advice in arbitration proceedings.
  • Strategic, global and comprehensive advice on the client's interests in in and out-of-court scenarios.
