I have extensive experience in business law, particularly advising on national and international investment and divestment transactions - mergers and acquisitions - and advising directors and management teams in the day-to-day running of their businesses.

I began my professional career in the business law department of Uría Menéndez, then joined Mat Holding Group, where I worked as general counsel for ten years. Prior to founding PARS, I was the general counsel of Grupo Godó.

My experience as an in-house lawyer and training in business management and administration (EMBA '17 IESE) enable me to offer very practical advice that is close to each client's business.

Main areas of practice and expertise

‍My professional experience has revolved around the following main axes:

• Advice on mergers and acquisitions.
  In recent years, I have advised industrial groups on their expansion plans, cooperating in the structuring, negotiation and closing of multiple corporate operations, as well as in the subsequent integration.
• Joint ventures and shareholders agreements.
  I advise investors - private equity and family offices - on taking minority and majority stakes in various businesses and sectors through to divestment.
• Advice on disputes between shareholders.
  As a result of my regular practice, I have been involved in several disputes between hareholder, both in pre-judicial and judicial proceedings.
• Advising unlisted companies on corporate governance matters.
  I am company secretary to several companies in various sectors, some of them family-owned.
